Another beautiful morning, warmer than even yesterday. I bustle my morning ritual, made easier by easy water.
By the time I start riding it is very comfortable out, and I crank down the FS road to the pavement. Choice's, choices, choices. Pavement directly to Bryce, or back track a bit to the routes dirt? It looks pretty easy day even on route so I take the back country route. Climb out of the sage barrens into the hills and park like ponderosa forests.

The south wind is picking up a bit, but not too bad, peddle on you crazy diamond.

 A few hunters RVs are hiding out on spurs. The buttes to the west are lit up nice, even this late in the morning. I wander for 15 miles before popping out at the Bryce airport, a short half mile to lunch at Subway.



Then into Bryce and see if I can score a campsite. Well, one campground is closed and other is full. Still, I am 3 miles up on the 5 mile bike path, I keep peddling and get a fix of the multi hued hoodoos of Bryce.
It is a quite smooth ride back to Bryce town, and the expensive camping at Ruby's RV Park. Still a shower is appreciated, last one was in Salina.






Though I do get a restaurant dinner tonight and buy a few supplies to get through the 2 days to Kanab.

      loaded!!?? That nutzoid, dude.
      Thought about taking a day and doing it once upon a time, but Bryce, beautiful as it is, has that international NP zooeyness, plus I wanted to make progress

      Yep,. Smaller thunder Mtn line area abound.
      In the background of some of the Bryce hotel is Powell point, no wannabe there

I follow the Salmon on Hwy 75 all day today. The day started with a breakfast burrito at the restaurant next door to my RV park. It was huge and I did not get it all, so I took the remainder for lunch. A little shopping to fill out dinner and tomorrows breakfast and I am on the road. The salmon valley is wide and hills dry around Challis, much as it was yesterday. It is also our parting as Glenda is heading the long 1200 mile journey back home, and I have a couple thousand plus laying in front of me. She has been a champ, towing the trailer these past 4 weeks, parking and setting up camp while I ride, dealing with me as I stop in brewpubs and local/only bars in teenie tiny towns, and providing a nice smile when I need it.
